Poured Concierge LLC ("POURED," "we," "us," or "our") operates the POURED mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Who We Are

POURED is a product of Poured Concierge LLC, based in Columbus, Ohio. You can reach us at hello@pouredconcierge.com.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect information needed to set up and secure it. POURED supports Sign in with Apple and email-based sign-in. Authentication is handled through Firebase, a service provided by Google. Depending on how you sign in, we may receive your name and email address. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive a private relay address rather than your actual email.

Photos you submit. POURED lets you photograph beverage labels to receive guidance. When you take or submit a photo, that image is uploaded to our servers and sent to a third-party artificial intelligence service (Anthropic, PBC) to analyze the label and generate a response. We use the camera only when you choose to take a photo; we do not access your camera in the background.

Questions and messages you send. When you ask questions or interact with our expert personas (Luc, Hank, and Monica), the text of your questions is sent to a third-party AI service to generate responses.

Taste profile. As you use the App, POURED builds a taste profile based on your preferences, ratings, and interactions to personalize recommendations over time.

Subscription information. POURED offers free and paid subscription tiers. Payments and subscription management are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card information. We may receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple.

Usage information. We may collect basic technical information necessary to operate and maintain the App, such as device type and app version.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the App's core features, including label analysis and personalized beverage guidance

  • Create and maintain your account

  • Build and improve your taste profile and recommendations

  • Manage your subscription

  • Communicate with you about your account or the App

  • Maintain the security and proper functioning of the App

How Your Information Is Shared

We share information only as described here:

  • AI service providers. Photos and questions you submit are sent to a third-party AI service to generate responses, as described above.

  • Service providers. We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and may use other providers that help us operate the App. These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.

  • Apple. Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store under Apple's terms and privacy practices.

  • Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention

We retain your account information and taste profile for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@pouredconcierge.com.

Your Choices

  • You can decline camera access; the photo-based features simply won't be available.

  • You can request access to or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@pouredconcierge.com.

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store account settings.

Children's Privacy

POURED is intended for adults of legal drinking age (21 and older in the United States). The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
